Welcome to the personal site of Andrew Fitz-Gibbon.

This site serves as a point of orientation to the various strands of my work—philosophy, spiritual practice, Tai Chi, writing, and lutherie. Rather than housing everything in one place, it guides readers to books, articles, and projects published elsewhere, while the blog offers shorter reflections that function as working essays shaped by ongoing practice and teaching.

The materials gathered and referenced here arise from a single set of concerns: how love may orient moral life, how nonviolence sets its limits, and how thoughtful practice—intellectual, spiritual, and manual—forms character over time. The intention is not to present a finished system but to invite engagement with questions that remain alive, tested in lived experience rather than settled in theory.
